Just three weeks prior to taking this picture in 2006, a blood clot had been diagnosed in my right leg. Assured by the doctors that the clot had been stabilized by medication, I chose Mill Creek Lake as my first post-diagnosis outing, since I would not have to walk far from the car. What a gift was this colorful scene!
