It was a foggy May morning. I was a bit distressed that I hadn't gotten myself up and away from the city in time to take advantage of the scenes these kinds of mornings had to offer. However, I managed to spot and photograph this magnolia at the end of a ray of light cutting through the mist. It's one of my favorite images!
