It's a mile-and-a-half walk upstream from the Big Creek picnic area to this favorite swimming spot, dubbed "Midnight Hole," where a deep pool forms below the gap where the stream is pressed between two large boulders. If you plan to photograph this in summer when no one is in the pool, get there ahead of the swimming crowd!
