One of the most popular drives in the Smokies is Little River Road. It follows the river by the same name as it meanders its way from Elkmont to Townsend. This scene shows the bridge over a section of the river known as "The Sinks," a favorite place for experienced kayakers to test their skills as they ride the current down a steep slide under the bridge.
